Gourmet Path is a wine and food tasting route that leads to the discovery of the specialities of Italian and Valtellina cuisine. A six-stop route, approximately 5 km long, completely surrounded by nature. The route starts at the small church of St. Christopher and reaches the Mount Vago area. The Association of Chefs and Pastry Cooks of Livigno will set up a number of stations where guests will stop and enjoy 5 different “gourmet finger foods”, one of which will be a reinterpretation of a traditional recipe included in the book “Leina da Saor”, each accompanied by a different Valtellina wine.
At each stop a professional musician will entertain the guests during their journey through the tastes and scents of Italian and Valtellina cuisine. Along the way, music from a violin, flute, trombone, horn and trumpet will accompany participants to the end of the route, in the Mount Vago area, where a trio formed by an accordion, a clarinet and a tuba will perform the final show, as guests enjoy barley coffee.
At the end of the walk, a bus service will take guests from “Croce del Vago” back to the starting point at the church of St. Christopher.
The event will start at 19.30 and will cater for 200 people. Participants will be divided into groups of 25 people, which will leave every 15 minutes accompanied by a guide
