WASTE SORTING

We concretize our love for the environment in which we live

The Municipality of Livigno has set up organised areas throughout the territory for waste sorting in order to improve the quality of the service, care for the environment and urban decorum.

The roadside bins have been replaced by 25 areas with basement containers, easily accessible and complete with all differentiated fractions, organised in 10 zones to optimise collection times and frequency.

Residents and tourists also have at their disposal the Val Viera ecological island, where they can dispose of large quantities of waste and bulky items during opening hours.

We recommend the use of medium-sized bags to prevent them from being dumped outside as they cannot fit into the container mouths.

Dirty containers must be drained and rinsed if necessary
They must not contain any organic waste residues
In addition to being as clean as possible, the material must be reduced in volume.

It is forbidden to deposit waste outside the containers, be they bins or basement bins. If necessary, take the waste to another public place.
