LAGO DEL MONTE

Itinerary leading to the largest alpine lake in Livigno, located in a wide amphitheater. The route crosses different types of natural environments, from coniferous forests to alpine meadows, up to the rocky slopes of the high altitudes. On the shore of the lake there is a small "baitel," a typical shelter accessible to all hikers.
