Munt La Schera Tunnel is the access point for Livigno for those visitors arriving from Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, the Engadin, Switzerland and all of Northern Europe. The tunnel is 3.5 km long, transit is one-way and alternating, and payment of a toll is required.
Online ticket sales are limited to the following categories: cars with up to 9 seats, motorbikes and caravans for either a one-way or a return journey. Tickets for all the other categories of vehicles can only be purchased at the Punt dal Gall cash desk and not online. Tickets purchased online can be shown on paper or in digital form from a mobile device (smartphone, tablet). When purchasing tickets it is only necessary to enter the arrival date.

From 02/11/2024 to 11/05/2025 the opening hours of the Munt la Schera tunnel will be as follows:
Monday to Sunday from 00.00 to 24.00 alternating one-way traffic, a traffic light regulates the traffic.
*Last passage from the roundabout in Livigno at 09:00 a.m.
**In case of heavy traffic, we reserve the right to maintain the closure in direction Switzerland until 08:00 p.m.
From 12/05/2025 to 23/05/2025 the opening hours of the Munt la Schera tunnel will be changed due to maintenance work.

Transit of the tunnel is not allowed by bike, a bike shuttle is available during the summer
