Fishing in alpine lakes

The valley of Livigno, which is crossed by the Spöl river that feeds the artificial lake to the north, is a favourite destination for fishing enthusiasts. Not everyone knows, however, that Aquagranda is the ancient name of the Spöl river, which channels its waters to the Inn river and from there to the Danube and the Black Sea.

There are several alpine lakes that can be reached on magnificent hikes, as well as lakes at the bottom of the valley, which are easily accessible from the foot and cycle path.
