Thanks to the snowshoes or “drezola” ( in Livigno’s dialect ) you can practice hiking also in winter. This special kind of shoes were used by the inhabitants to move around during the cold season. The snowshoes helped them getting in the woods and valleys that in winter seem to fall into an apparent slumber, and providing a glimpse into the lives of numerous creatures in these environments, where they remain throughout the winter.
