<p><span>The </span><strong><span>Gara da li Contrada</span></strong><span> is one of the most iconic events in Livigno’s local culture, featuring a truly unique competition: a cross-country ski race held in the middle of the summer season. The </span><strong><span>Contrada Ostaria</span></strong><span> claimed victory and also recorded the highest number of participants, with </span><strong><span>108 competitors</span></strong><span>, followed by </span><strong><span>Forcola with 104</span></strong><span>.</span></p>
<p><span>Participants from Livigno’s eight contrade brought the event to life by wearing traditional clothing and taking to the course with vintage skis and equipment. They competed along an approximately 1 km snow-covered track, where competitive spirit and a strong sense of belonging came together in a major collective celebration.</span></p>

The groups of conscripts brought an especially lively atmosphere to the race, taking part in a playful spirit with themed costumes, plenty of enthusiasm and, of course, a strong desire to compete.”</span></em></strong></p>
