Livigno, 03.07.2025 – Turning 25 and feeling younger than ever: the Brooks Stralivigno celebrates a quarter of a century on July 19, proving its continuous growth and strong bond with both the territory and its participants. Set in the heart of the Alps, Livigno offers unspoiled nature and a vast network of trails, creating a truly magnetic setting for the many runners who visit each summer.
With breathtaking views, warm hospitality, endless trail options for all levels, top-notch facilities, and a deep-rooted sports culture, Livigno has become a reference point for runners—whether professionals or recreational athletes living an active lifestyle. And within this excellence, the Brooks Stralivigno stands as a milestone event of the summer season, a staple for 25 years now. A half marathon that runs through the Livigno valley, Stralivigno has become a must for trail running enthusiasts and continues to attract international participants.
Twenty-one kilometers of pure emotion, running in close contact with Livigno’s natural beauty—through forest trails and village roads, offering unique views and the heartfelt support of locals. The course is particularly scenic and beloved by athletes, as it brings runners right into the soul of Livigno. Registration is still open for both the individual race and the fun team relay format.
The weekend kicks off on Friday, July 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the opening of the Expo Village at Aquagranda, where race kits and bibs will be distributed. Aquagranda will serve as the main hub of the weekend: an Olympic Training Center and future Casa Italia during the 2026 Winter Olympics, it is the pride of Livigno’s sporting facilities and a second home to many Italian and international athletes.
Bib and race pack distribution will also take place on Saturday, July 19, until one hour before the start of the race, scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
Aquagranda will also host both the start and finish lines, the expo area, and the flower ceremony. Meanwhile, the pasta party, awards ceremony, and runners’ party will be held at Plaza Placheda.
The weekend will also feature the Ministralivigno on Sunday, July 20, a youth race taking place on the Aquagranda athletics track. It’s a playful and unforgettable experience for kids, giving them the chance to challenge others in their age group—from the "Superbaby" category (born in 2021 and after) to the "Allievi" category (born in 2008–2009). A testament to the event’s connection with future generations and its commitment to the next 25 years of Stralivigno.
