Ski touring

There are a great variety of routes allowing everyone to chart their own skiing trips suited to their abilities and level of fitness: from climbs on the open slopes lasting a couple of hours to trails on the glaciers lasting several days. Many of the peaks are reachable on skis, but in all cases we strongly recommend the accompaniment of an experienced mountain guide. There is much to learn during the course of the outings, such as technical advice, the equipment, snow science and avalanche prevention.

It is important to already have an adequate technical level for off-piste excursions either with Alpine Guides or there are the new "managed areas"which can be tried independently.
