Between the Olympic winter and the summer of cycling: in Livigno, sport lives all year round.

Livigno, November 3, 2025 — When it comes to Livigno, the rhythm of sport knows no seasons. While the Olympic winter is now just around the corner, the destination is already looking ahead to the coming summer, announcing the opening of registrations for one of the most beloved and iconic events on its calendar: the Granfondo Livigno Alé, scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026.

An event that perfectly embodies the deep connection between Livigno and cycling — in all its forms — and that each year attracts athletes and enthusiasts from across Europe, ready to take on some of the most spectacular and challenging routes in the cycling scene.

Registrations open today, November 3, 2025, with an early-bird fee of €50 available until January 6, 2026. Participants will then be able to register until June 24, exclusively online via the ENDU portal, with progressively increasing fees depending on the registration period.

A final opportunity to register in person will be available in Livigno on June 26.

The Granfondo Livigno Alé is an event that blends the passion for endurance with the beauty of the mountains, and the skill of great cycling with the magic of the landscape.

Two routes are planned for this edition as well: the short route, 106 km long with an elevation gain of 2,050 meters, will pass through the heart of Livigno up to the Forcola Pass, then continue through the breathtaking Swiss scenery of the Bernina. The long route, 166 km with an elevation gain of 4,300 meters, is designed for the more experienced riders. Starting from Aquagranda, it will take cyclists over some of the legendary climbs of modern cycling — Umbrail, Foscagno, Eira, and Mottolino in a crescendo of emotion and altitude.

A race that, over the years, has become both a declaration of love for cycling and a manifesto of Livigno’s philosophy:
combining performance with beauty, effort with freedom, technique with passion.

Here, where cycling is part of everyday life, every climb becomes a challenge and every descent an invitation to dream.

Recognized for decades as one of Europe’s cycling capitals, Livigno welcomes champions, federations, and enthusiasts of all levels each year for their high-altitude training camps, thanks to a territory offering routes of varying difficulty, breathtaking scenery, and a community for whom sport is second nature.

The Granfondo Livigno Alé is the celebration of all this — the meeting point between tradition and innovation, between the most authentic sporting culture and the ever-forward-looking spirit that defines Livigno.

An event that fits into the broader journey leading Livigno toward February 2026, when the town will take center stage at the Olympic Games, hosting no fewer than 26 medal events in snowboard and freestyle.

And so, as snow begins to fall on the mountains that will soon become the stage for the Games, the Granfondo already ignites the imagination of those who dream of cycling through one of the most spectacular settings in the world.

Because in Livigno, every season is an ode to sport — and every event is an invitation to aim higher, to push beyond one’s limits, to experience the mountains with the style and energy of those who know that here, truly, every effort is worth the view.
