Why going there

Mountain style cuisine, the one traditionally passed down for generations, can be found in this restaurant located in the center of town in a house with frescos by Marcello Cofortola painted on the façade. The owners, husband and wife Orsola Claoti and Ercole Viviani, purposely preserved the style and in 2000, readapted these spaces and made them accessible to the public after a previous experience as hotel managers. The family style business- with the wife in the dining room and husband in the kitchen perfectly blends with the traditional menu they offer, there are various single dishes that stand out, there is a rich list of sandwiches (made with raw materials from the territory), a good selection of soups, the ‘consumato di cappone’ served with home style ravioli, the Tyrolean ‘canederli’ with bacon, the lake fish ‘persico’, ‘scontorna’ steak and Livigno’s typical cake. There are two large terraces one in the front and one in the back, both face the walking area as well as the beautiful natural surroundings of the town.
