Livigno - Trepalle

On this day, the alpine transhumance is reenacted, during which the animals, after spending the summer in the high pastures, return to the village for the winter season. The livestock, adorned for the occasion, animal parades through the streets of the town, accompanied by the people of Livigno dressed in traditional "old-style" clothing to relive the emotions of rural life from the past.

ALPENFEST

Farmers are those who, quietly and discreetly, work hard throughout the entire summer.
The Alpenfest is the day when the ancient ritual of alpine transhumance is brought back to life, as the livestock returns to the village for the winter after spending the summer in the high pastures.

We would like to thank our farmers who, with dedication and discretion, work tirelessly throughout the summer.
This event will be a true celebration!

Saturday, September 27

PROGRAM

At 10:00 AM: Parade led by the Corpo Musicale di Livigno, departing from the Oratorio Don Bosco (via Saroch) towards the Zona Isola.

At 10:30 AM: Parade featuring the Gruppo Folkloristico e Costumi Caratteristici di Livigno, departing from the Chiesa di Santa Maria towards the Zona Isola.

From 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Le aziende agricole di Livigno will parade in the ring, under the watchful eyes of the judges. Followed by the saluto al pastore and official speeches.

From 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
at via Isola
Taste and Tradition: Gourmet lunch curated by the Associazione Cuochi e Pasticceri di Livigno, with a menu inspired by the book Lèina da Saór.

From 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Performance by the Corpo Musicale di Livigno and Coro Monteneve di Livigno.

From 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Traditional farming challenges by the farms of Livigno and award ceremony with the presentation of the Alpenfest Livigno 2025 Trophy.

From 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Pomeriggio del Famegl: an afternoon of themed games and activities for children aged 3 to 12.

From 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Alpen Party

From 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Live Show: We end the day with the electrifying energy of Davide Van De Sfroos.

Lunch organized by the Trepalle Youth at Passo Eira.

Traditional farming competitions (log sawing, milking, wheelbarrow course) + award ceremony and presentation of the Alpenfest Trepalle 2025 Trophy.
